OUR HISTORY:
God gave a vision to our Founder and Lead Pastor, Rev. Jean P. Ouedraogo, of building a Multi-Cultural Church in Houston Texas for the glory of the Lord. The vision was of a church that would reach out to the community of Houston and surrounding areas with the love of God; a church that would impact the tens of thousands of African immigrants and a church that would impact the entire city of Houston, the State of Texas, and the world at large; a church filled with incredible worship, dynamic preaching, holy living, loving fellowship, and acts of service; a church that would touch the hearts and lives of the Diaspora believers and those who were seeking an international house of worship where they could belong and feel at home.
Rev. Jean P. Ouedraogo and a dedicated team began praying for the fulfillment of this vision in early 2019. The church held outreach meetings during the months of June, July, and August 2020. Our first Sunday morning service was held the first Sunday in September 2020 at Comfort Inn Hotel in Soutwhest Houston.
In February 2021, Agape moved to the OYO Hotel on Westheimer rd to be able to accomodate more people. In March 2021, due to storm the Hotel were closed and we moved to another Hotel.
